We love September (news roundup)
It’s behind you! The Festival of the Sea, as imagined by POPtART
Fit for the Captain’s table: the fabulous seafood platter at Phileas Fogg’s on Ventnor High Street
Seafood September
What a beautiful time to visit Ventnor. Of course, we could say that about any month of the year. But September’s special – there’s the Festival of the Sea, which is basically an excuse to eat seafood and sing sea shanties at our favourite places like Phileas Fogg’s in Ventnor (home of the famous Seafood Sunday). Plus it’s still sunny enough to swim, surf or chillax al fresco at a local café or bar.
The Hambrough at home
We’re delighted to launch our new cookery section in collaboration with The Hambrough! (Yes, that’s the restaurant with 5 AA stars and gorgeous accommodation). We’ve got a quick Q&A with the new chef Darren Beevers and he reveals a secret exclusively for Love Ventnor readers. Plus there’s a great seafood recipe that we’d like you to try (but you have to promise to send us the pics of your efforts!). So chop, chop, as Darren might say. Read it now.
Dreamy: win a night at the swanky Windsor Carlton!

We’ve got a great competition for you this month. Enjoy a fabulous night at the stylish Windsor-Carlton, a lovely B&B overlooking Ventnor Bay. All you have to do is tell us about your dream B&B experience in under 50 words. Find out more here…
