Meet the Love Ventnor team

Catherine Bassindale – Editor
Catherine (hi, that’s me) writes most of the words on this site. She is a copywriter and web developer at Words&Stuff, a Ventnor-based design agency. Catherine spent many years as a journalist for national newspapers and magazines. She’s smoked cigars with Sylvester Stallone, interviewed a woman who thought she was a peanut, and much, much more. So, got a scoop for us, or need some beautiful words for your business?

Lindsay Robertson – Designer
Lindsay created the look and feel for the Love Ventnor brand and website. He keeps the site up to date and is using the opportunity to dust down his camera and get out and about to take some pics in the sunshine. Lindsay’s proper job is the ‘stuff’ part of Words&Stuff – responsible for design, art direction and web development. He worked for a West End design agency for many years and his clients range from central Government to Jersey Royals. So need some design doing (or a nice shiny new website)?

Ann Hutchins – Co-ordinator
Ann co-ordinates the directory listings and advertising and is involved with the editorial content. We like going to meetings at Ann’s hotel, the Windsor-Carlton, because (a) she’s great company and (b) we can sit amongst the Echiums in her garden (which has the most incredible sea view) and pretend we’re working. We’re all in the Ventnor Business Association which isn’t actually one of those hideous organisations where you have to punt your business for 60 seconds in front of strangers. We meet up every now and then, discuss issues such as the bunting and the Christmas lights, and have a little chat and a nice cup of coffee. Care to join us?
