SUNDAY 25 AUGUST: Dinosaur picnic – fun & games

Dates: Sunday 25 August at 11am
Venue: Ventnor Park and Putting Green, Park Road, Ventnor
Free! Bring your own picnic or buy your own from the kiosk.

You are cordially invited to a dino picnic in the park, hosted by Ventnor’s very own Valdosaurus. This prehistoric creature was found in Ventnor – and is celebrated in the new Dino app (WHAT? You’ve not tried it? Where have you been?)

Valdosaurus loved to party, as you’ll find out at this fun family event. It’s been put on (just for you) by the Ventnor Business Association. They will be dino games, storytelling, and you can help build a huge dinosaur. And that’s just for starters.

There are not many sleeps to go now, so put this in your diary. In the meantime, check out the video below, showing David Thornton in action with a Valdosaurus. If you’re wondering “hmm… who’s David Thornton? I know that name…” then David was, of course, the runner up in our recent slogan competition.

Enjoy the picnic!
